This seems like the wrong way to deal with a miscarriage, no matter what the circumstance. Nobody wins.
Too bad the judge cannot offer an option of prison time, community service, and/or sterilization.
Community service is a joke in this country.
It’s a miscarriage of justice.
Sorry, but while manslaughter is basically accidental, this is purely accidental. If this is the standard then lots of people should be charged including for hurting or killing themselves and others.
This is not an abortion issue.
