Who grows the baby? With her own body? Who knows without question a baby is hers? Who goes through all the pain and danger?

Your post portrays mothers as the Owner of the couple’s daughters and sons, which results in the couple’s daughters and sons being treated as the Property of the mother, which is the core of the problem.
That ideology is why abortion is legal as “a woman’s right to choose”, or more accurately, “a mother’s right to choose”.
Also, mandated paternity tests of every baby at birth would resolve any questions about the paternity of babies, but for some reason a lot of women object to that.
