Well...the Brits have experiences in pandemics. And they have the proper responses.
They force the whole family into their houses and nail the doors shut. When it gets quiet, they then send in a mortician to see if the whole works are dead yet. If not, get out and nail the door shut again till the job is done properly.

BTW, that plague resulted in a peasants revolt. The nobility found out they didnt have enough WORKERS to do the work on their property. Vast shortages occurred and the wage demand went sky high.
