and if I recall correctly (I didn't save or I can't find the info, darn it)the polling data was only good up to the end of the RNC Convention - end of July. Manfort got the ax in August.
Manafort was trying to pass the info to a couple of Ukrainians, not Russians.

As I recall the “polling data” was completely + utterly useless (except to Strzok & Co.)
