That's ridiculous. 90% of the posts this year are imported directly from Facebook. It's FRacebook. You obviously don't lurk-read enough anymore.
"I am convinced the majority of the fights that occur during primary season, where somebody shows up as a supporter of Candidate A and is just unbearably obnoxious, and alienates everyone else, while other people do the exact same thing for every other candidate except an establishment candidate, until we are all fighting and can’t stand each other as a Bush or a Romney just walk into the nomination, are actual planned operations to manipulate the readers here and try to exert just another degree of control over the process, however minor."
Really? Really? That is exactly backwards. You sure thought it sounded good ripping off multiple posts to a dead thread LOL. But you as a key early supporter of non-Establishment Trump puts the lie to your more recent solipsism.
We fight here because it is a site established to Constitutional Conservatism.
Free Republic is off-course because this site is devolving into FRacebook and the FRacebookers are also importing their Facebook fights; and all your book pimping doesn't change that.
“You obviously don’t lurk-read enough anymore.”
I run a news aggregator, so I actually read every post on the main page every day, and know where they come from. These stories may show up on facebook, but I think most posters are getting them off other news aggregators.
Where was I obnoxious supporting Trump? Where did I get in a fight with somebody?
I actually supported Cruz and Trump, primarily against Jeb, because by that point I had been dealing with the surveillance, and realized there was something bigger going on, and Jeb was likely involved with it as a conspirator, as all of the Bushes are.
But I never personally attacked other people, or drove other posters here nuts. I really did not like Romney, but I would never have attacked Mormons as not Christian, as I saw happen here, to foment fights and create dissension. Notice, I said 90% of the fights, not 90% of the posts about candidates.
A lot more on these sites is paid trolls sent in to cause problems than you would think.
