The problem with the end of this article is that they’re implying a global acceptance of “trying socialism” once again. Those of us standing in the way, those of us who understand history and the costs of this consistently failed experiment in government, are being harangued as conspiracy theorists, nutcases, and domestic terrorists.
I think I now understand what life must’ve been like in Weimar Germany or at any point where society was on the cusp of madness: those who wish to be left alone recoil further from society while society marches on madly into the abyss.
