For good.

And begin to homeschool them.

Sending them back Tuesday makes Monday meaningless.

It just gives the teachers a day off.

As DJT said, “Let the money follow the child”.

Another day off for the teachers! Yeah! This kind of thing does nothing. If it was happening up here, the teachers would be encouraging it happen one day every month. What the heck do they care? They get paid and don’t have to do anything. Our taxes are confiscated, so it’s not like their money flow stops. In fact, they already have about 10 of these days in the school year already - they can them “professional development days” lololololo. Like we all get paid days off every month to “professionally develop”. We’re a bunch of suckers.

They need to do this on the day they count heads to find out how much money the district will get to fund the schools

Not an effective way to address the issues because your penalizing the kids and the teachers will show up just the same and get paid for it.

I definitely agree.....this will not accomplish what they hope it will unless with it they remove their kids from public education period. Now that would be a wake up call.

But the schools themselves may not get paid funds. State/County funds are usually allocated and dispersed per student per day present in most states. That is why a student not being present is such a big deal to schools and they make such a fuss about absences. And why they make such a fuss about “districts”. The more students present in class, the more they get each day per each one.

In a way it would get attention, but if your system “works” like ours does, it would only affect the number of teachers hired.

Our taxes go to the Ministry of Education. They certainly will continue to collect them, as they are part of our property taxes. If we fail to pay our property taxes, we have our property taken from us! So the Ministry will still collect all of their money, but they won’t be directing nearly as much to the schools - they pay a certain amount to the school boards for every student.

The schools would be hurting, possible be forced to close some, but the Ministry would be thrilled with all of the extra loot.

The school districts get paid for each student present...I believe. Keeping kids out defunds ‘em...totally correct about homeschooling them. There are very many premade curriculums out there.
Just need a neighborhood association for home school corporate events, and some information coordination.
In view of the total collapse and radical politization of public schools it is time for their destruction.
