When Calvin and Hobbes ceased being published in the newspaper I quit reading the comics.

My daughters bought me the full bound set of Calvin and Hobbes cartoons. Two big heavy volumes, not the smaller volumes.
One of my many favorites was when Dad tried to convince Calvin that the world before the 1930s was all black and white.
