I don’t plan to take it prophylactically, but it sounds like another weapon to use if experiencing any symptoms. Thanks for the good info. I learn a lot on Free Republic.

Sounds to me like it also makes sense not to wait. It’s too bad there isn’t a way to get aspirin into the body other than the stomach, it does cause slight bleeding or can lead to ulcers. Maybe a patch?
There was a lot of interest in what particular NSAID to take when this first started. It sort of looked to me like Aspirin was the way to go, and specificially not Tylenol or Ibuprofen. I had more than a passing interest in the matter at the time because my fever was about 104. Poring over the information online coming out of China, listening to the experts in this country, and then figuring ya pays yer money and takes yer chances.
