I regret not having the links...
An article discussed the effects of diabetic meds where the down-regulation of ACE1 resulted in the increased expression of ACE2 — the fertile ground for SARS.
I believe the article/study was posted on clinicaltrials.gov.
Sounds like BS.
People who were struck with Covid before more information was out had it tough. Now we know more and can prepare better. I suppose one can take low dose aspirin prophylactically if it is coated to protect the stomach.
The way Aspirin works, it is my understanding it makes no difference if it is coated or not, it will cause some bleeding of the stomach lining no matter what. Could be wrong, but that’s what I’ve read. I just buy generic. Chew it in half and park it under the tongue or like chewing tobacco. It is absorbed through the skin quicker this way. The method recommended when having a heart attack. But when swallowed it will still cause some bleeding, it’s just what Aspirin does, I guess.
I’ve never considered putting it under the tongue. I’ll have to try that one day. Too bad they don’t make a sublingual version. It might save a lot of stomachs.
It works well, try it. You don’t have to wait for “one day”, it’s already here!
