Very often, no, they don’t.
MORE often, LOL’s (Little Old Ladies) and men will come into clinic saying they’re “dizzy,” or “out of sorts” in some vague manner without specifics.
Fever, chills, sweats, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, headache, rapid or irregular heart rate, swelling - no, no, no , no again and again.
PE rarely reveals anything telling.
Urinalysis almost always does. If in doubt, antibiotic the heck out of them, as some recent reviews (viz: Dr. Richard Colgan, MD, Family Medicine Univ. MD) have demonstrated a sizable number of patients with kidney infections WITHOUT urinary tract infection markers (protein, leukocyte esterase, nitrite, elevated pH) but a high clinical index of suspicion can be a lifesaver when followed with urine cultures and antibiotics at the time of evaluation.
Given Bill’s history of heart disease, ANY complaint on the “I don’t feel right” spectrum would have gotten a RFN (RFQ for my southern-speaking friends) H&P/labs about as quick as you can say “Epstein didn’t kill himself.”
Urosepsis can be VERY bad, fatal, especially given the randomness of antibiotic-resistant strains of E. coli, and all the rest.
I’d been following the prevalence of the NDMH gene (New Delhi Metallo-Lactamase) up until it got relegated to the back burner about 20 months ago as a news item, but there ARE bugs out there that eat every known antibiotic and they’re spreading quicker than covid serotypes in vaccinated subjects.
I saw a guy last week with an antibiotic-resistant strain of Gonorrhea. Sent him to infectious disease after culture came back showing NO abx sensitivity.
He didn’t follow the guy rules. Now his wife is a LITTLE upset with him.
Good thing I’m doing urgent care on my way out of here, will pick up in TN when I move, I think, the demand for doctors where I’m going is high.
I don’t have to deal with nearly as much drama as in years past. Shift’s over, I go home. No call, no follow up (except rare cases).
Lord, take care of Bill Clinton, send him home or take him home, your will be done.
Amen.
I vote for 'take him home', if home is hell (it is). I been waiting a long time to piss on his grave.
Maybe Hillary will die of a broken heart when he's croaked. Yea, right. A boy can dream.
Taking him home implies he would be making it to heaven which I seriously doubt would be the case, his profession of faith notwithstanding.
His life choices do not lend credence to a genuineness of conversion.
When has slick ever followed the guy rules?
Shillary has known what he is since the very early days of their partnership.
