THey seem a tad off.
I mean, the latest crop of articles are funny and all, but there is a weird edge to them...
kinda reminds me of the Dave Barry imitators, who couldn’t seem to exactly get into Dave’s particular groove of humor.

Could be a case of “playing down to the level of your competition”. Humans are lazy and many take the easy path when presented. It’s the low hanging fruit analogy but with sleepy joe all the fruit is on the bottom branches.
