Not sure if they are all legal, but
***but... you are perpetuating this terrible problem of inviting in a permanent underclass of indentured servants by way of corruption.

So what is your solution? I am to accept substandard work? I don’t ask a persons legal status, I ask if they can do the work at what cost. Last year I declined to use a contractor on my house who could not or would not provide his insurance carriers information and his liability coverage. He was Hispanic, and under bid everyone else. But, if my house was damaged, my insurance would not cover that. I ended up going with a more expensive local contractor who provide his insurance carrier and what he was liable for. Guess what, white supervisor, Hispanic workers. Go figure.

By the way, what I am paying for the engine rebuild and upholstery is not insignificant. The people doing the work are skilled labor and are paid well. They are not indentured. Both shops have a waiting list because of the quality of their work. Are they all legal hell if I know, I also don’t know if they are Democrats, liberal, gay or straight.
