‘Huge Expectations’: S.E. Cupp Says It’s Not Biden’s Fault He Couldn’t Fix America In 9 Months

CNN’s S.E. Cupp argued Tuesday that voters had “heaped huge expectations” on President Joe Biden and shouldn’t expect him to fix everything in just nine months.

Cupp joined ABC’s “The View” as a guest host, and when the conversation turned to the battle to pass both the bipartisan infrastructure bill and the $3.5 trillion reconciliation package, she argued that some people might have expected too much of the president in the early months of his administration.

Joy Behar began the segment by noting that Biden’s approval ratings had not been stellar, and she asked Cupp whether passing the infrastructure bill and reconciliation might have a positive impact.

“Let me ask something. His approval ratings would go up if he could get the bills through. S.E.?” Behar asked. “Why not get rid of the filibuster?”

“The problem is that’s great for you guys now. What happens when someone else is in power? Do you want them to have the same ability? So, you know, I’m a little on the fence on that,” Cupp cautioned, noting that removing the filibuster would hurt the minority party — which could eventually be the Democrats.

“However, I do think, listen, we heaped huge expectations on Biden,” Cupp continued, arguing that the United States had been “broken” when Biden took office. “He literally had to put it back together again, and no one man is capable of doing all of that ever, let alone in nine months.”

“Maybe a woman is. But not a man,” Behar joked.

Guest co-host Sherri Shepherd said her concern was that African Americans who had voted for Biden might feel like his promises to them had gone unfulfilled and that might drive them to stay home during the 2022 midterm elections.

“I think he’s got a problem –” she said.

Nothing is ever Biden’s fault.

Everything is Trump’s fault. /s

What you said.

Biden is like the opposite of Midas. Everything Joetato touches turns to sh*t.

Biden: “Kammy, I’m embarrassed to ask you, but Jill’s gone right now. I need a little help. You know how to work one of these?”

Kamala: “Joe. Exactly what are ‘we’ talking about right now?

Biden: “Huh? My zipper, of course. Its jammed!”

Joe’s way of “fixing” the country could have been a fairly simple matter, but then he might have had to follow in Trump’s footsteps. Apparently, this was not in his plan. We have people in power now that just won’t swallow their pride & do something right just because they won’t do anything the previous administration did. I have to wonder if we’d be any worse off if they were all jailed & unable to do their job. At least they might not be able to work against us as they are now. They forget who they are supposed to be working for. And now this country is in the worst mess I can remember in my (fairly long) lifetime. Let’s Go Brandon!

He hasn’t fixed anything. It doesn’t take very long for a jackass to screw things up and make things worse than before.

Cupp was born in Oceanside, California. While growing up, she lived in Andover, Massachusetts, and attended the Academy of Notre Dame. From age six until her late teens, she studied ballet. While attending ballet school, she suffered from eating disorders, and experienced a relapse during her college years. In 2000, Cupp graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in art history. While attending Cornell, she worked for The Cornell Daily Sun. In 2010, she earned a Master of Arts degree from the Gallatin School of Individualized Study at New York University with a concentration in Religious Studies.

S.E. Cupp would have been better at something else.

For a guy who couldn’t fix anything in 9 months it sure didn’t take him that long to destroy a well running economy he inherited from the previous administration.

With that kind of resume she should certainly know. Maybe she should give investment advice as well?

“Maybe a woman is. But not a man,” Behar joked.

Gargoyle Behar’s female chauvinism is tiresome. Left wing female senators, house members, governors and mayors are all huge failures. Look at VP Kamalatoe. Just awful. Alpha male Trump is a leader who got things done despite huge obstacles and resistance. No left wing female compares to him.

This administration enjoys creating messes.....it hides what they’re actually doing they don’t want us to see or know. Therefore what we ‘see’ and “hear” is about 20 steps behind what these thugs have already moved ahead on at breakneck speed.
