Here in Florida we seem to attract the crazies from throughout our country.
Course I can understand why as we have good weather, cheep beer and low prices on living.
I carry where ever I go.
I have an active ccw and am well trained in using my weapon and am willing to use it as are so many others in my state.
I carry a Kimber .45. It is bad ass and Always works well.

God bless and be safe and Always be prepared to help others in need.

Many years ago I helped stop a bank robbery where the perp shot my vehicle 5 times.
He is in prison still after 35 years.
Sheriff asked why i just didn’t run him over?
told him I was afraid I’d be the one to go to jail. He said, “this ain’t freaken N.Y. son”. Run him over next time.
I go t a CCW and have carried ever since.

NE side of Dallas (Rowlett/Rockwall), I haven’t seen any yet. Dallas probably has a few, but I tend to avoid there as much as possible.

I have a couple friends in that area. I can’t imagine there are a lot of Democrats.

I wish the LTC course got rid of the irrelevant segment on gun safes and the mandatory "law shield" ad, and replaced it with a discussion of proper holsters and concealment.

YES - there has to be a rethinking and an enhancement of such skills, for survival in an increasingly belligerent society. I've seen firsthand where the commo lefties have had instructive discussions on internet forums about how to detect concealed carry and who to call, what to say, to get legally armed citizens in trouble. Gotta shake off the normalcy bias and adapt to how things are now, otherwise those classes are a disservice.
