Pompeo does not have a chance.
If there actually is an election in 2024 and there is any chance of it being fair, then I think it matters less who runs (Trump, deSantis, some other acceptable anti-globalist) and it matters more what they propose to do in the four years. They are going to have to do a lot more than Trump was able to do in his first term, on several files, and combine that with a resumption of the good work done too.
The main problem is the swamp, all we did in the first Trump term was to identify it and name the inhabitants. But this was already widely known anyway. Now we have to confront the swamp dwellers and deal out real justice to them.
That’s what I want to see the 2024 nominee planning to do, and while I would love to see Trump running again, de Santis might actually be a better choice due to the age factor.
Having said all that, I don’t rule out the possibility that developments in the next six months to a year will invalidate the Biden regime and Donald Trump may resume his legitimate presidency interrupted by the fraudulent election. Then the question becomes, does the two-term limit apply, or should there perhaps be a seven year presidential term from Nov 2021 to Nov 2028? No presidential election at all in 2024, just fix the broken system and have a fair election in 2028.
