After looking at the first video, I realized the source of his problems.
He wants to live “in the moment”, which means you don’t worry about tomorrow, or more importantly about the consequence that you will be faced with tomorrow due to the choices you make today - a denial or dismissal of cause and effect.
This “live in the moment” crap is the height of irresponsible behavior which invariably leads to untold suffering.
In reality we mostly live in the future. For the vast majority of us the choices we make this moment are dictated by our expectations of what those choices will produce in the future.
It’s all about the pursuit of happiness, as each one of us defines that.
