Supposedly rescued by a fisherman off Papua New Guinea.

Wouldn’t they have been concerned about being captured by cannibals rather than rescued by a friendly?

If the two survivors were cannibals, what is the likelihood of running into another group of cannibals after a long journey?
And if nothing else, they could all enjoy a nice bit of long pig together.
