"The coasts can't even feed themselves or keep the lights on without “flyover country”, but we can do quite well without them. I think I'd be just fine with never seeing another inane celebrity tweet or hearing what the latest letter added to the lgbtqrstuvwxyz parade of deviancy was. "
Can you generate your own electricity for an indefinite period of time, like years? Can you refine your own gasoline? Maybe you own a tractor for farming. Can you manufacture a tractor? Can you perform an appendectomy? Can you fill a tooth cavity? Not many people can live totally off grid, most are just pretending.
I'm just saying

For me, I have enough food for at least 6 months. Where I live I have plenty of hunting and fishing, not to mention plenty of good people to assist. I don’t need government for anything, they are the problem, as are cities.

I wasn’t implying that I was somehow going to secede from the blue states all by myself and live “off-grid” in the woods. My point was that blue states, as a group, need the red “flyover” states far more than the other way around. If there ever was a real split between the two, the red states would be entirely self-sustaining, while the blue states, particularly the coastal blue hellholes, would have a rough time. The biggest potential contradiction is California, with its inland agriculture, but leftists have been successfully starving that industry of water for years.
The biggest problems for the blue “Woke Confederacy” would be feeding themselves and keeping the lights on, while Real America would have an abundance of both food and energy.
