This is invoking another lockdown-sort of paralysis of the economy. Last time it was the general service industry, this time it's hitting higher up on the profession ladder, the people who make things go, who got a pass last time but not now.

But the vax doesn’t work for the delta variant so can’t be used to control it.

Also, the mandate is for the vax OR weekly testing, and notice how everyone is going on board with the vax as if that were the only option?

They are ignoring the weekly testing aspect.
