All these volcanos remind me of the Star Trek movie, “The Search for Spock” where they find a young regenerating Spock on the planet “genesis”. The planet was an experiment in life generation/regeneration and is self-destructing in a very volcanic fashion.

Also reminded that all our energy and activity is but a tiny speck compared to the enormous power bottled up inside this planet, this planet whose core is molten rock.

Endangering Rome sounds kind of biblical.
