I live on a popular lake in Tennessee, and people drop their phones in all the time. There is a local diver who retrieves them (we’re talking 20-60’ down) and they often work just fine after being dried out.
In last night’s speech, TRUMP: “The United States of America will not tell you how to live, how to think, what to do. You will not be bossed by incompetent, dishonest, disgusting politicians, by Big Tech tyrants, by left wing bullies or anybody else because we are a great, proud and sovereign nation.”
He’s telling us to get ready to take a stand.

That’s interesting !!!
I built a battery operated led display with 32 LEDs in it that had a programmable chip in it.
It got wet like you said (5’ of water though) and its inoperable even after drying out.
Thus my comment; I stand corrected.
