Pop star Billie Eilish slammed Texas for saving unborn babies from abortions in a vile rant Saturday at the Austin City Limits Festival, calling the state heartbeat law “s—” and saying she wants to “punish this f—— place.”
The 19-year-old singer/songwriter is part of a chorus of celebrities who are criticizing the Texas pro-life law. Jennifer Aniston, Amy Schumer, Jennifer Lawrence and Sharon Stone are among the others.
Eilish bashed the law on stage during her concert in Austin, Texas, standing in front of a banner that read, “Bans off our bodies,” the entertainment news site Pop Buzz reports.
“When they made that s— a law, I almost didn’t want to do the show, because I wanted to punish this f—— place for allowing that to happen here,” the Grammy Award-winning artist said. “But then I remembered that it’s you guys that are the f—— victims, and you deserve everything in the world. And we need to tell them to shut the f— up.”
She ended her pro-abortion rant by screaming, “My body, my f—— choice!” while holding up her middle finger, according to the report.
Eilish also bashed men in a post on Instagram, writing, “I really wish men cared more. I’m so f—— tired. Makes me sick how many men say nothing when it comes to women’s rights. If you and your ‘homies’ or bros’ aren’t talking about the abortion laws in Texas, chances are you’re part of a problem.”
Unborn babies have been victims of abortion violence for nearly 50 years in the United States. The Texas heartbeat law — the first of its kind allowed to be enforced in the U.S. – has been saving about 100 babies from violent abortion deaths every single day. That amounts to approximately 3,000 unborn babies, as well as their mothers and fathers, who have been spared from the pain and death of abortion since Sept. 1.
The law prohibits abortions once an unborn baby’s heartbeat is detectable, about six weeks of pregnancy. In September, the U.S. Supreme Court refused Planned Parenthood’s and other pro-abortion groups’ request to temporarily block enforcement of the law. However, the court battle is not over, and no one is certain if the law will remain in effect or for how long.
Meanwhile, pro-life advocates are reaching out to pregnant women across Texas with compassion and understanding, offering financial and material resources and emotional support to help them and their babies. The state has more than 200 pregnancy resource centers that provide free services to pregnant and parenting mothers in need. That total does not include maternity homes and other resources for struggling families.
Earlier this year, state lawmakers increased support for programs that serve pregnant and parenting mothers and babies, ensuring that they have resources to choose life for their babies.
Polls show Americans support heartbeat laws. An April poll by the University of Texas-Austin found that 49 percent of Texans support making abortions illegal after six weeks of pregnancy, while 41 percent oppose it. In 2019, a national Hill-HarrisX survey also found that 55 percent of voters said they do not think laws banning abortions after six weeks – when an unborn baby’s heartbeat is detectable – are too restrictive.
I’d tell Billie Hellish to “Shut up and sing.”
But I’ve never heard her, and doubt I’d like her music if I did.
So I won’t even bother telling her that.
The tour will dwindle and she'll continue the train wreck Hollywood style.
Does this rant apply to people that choose to pass on the chi-com 19 virus injection?
Her rant really is, "My body, my choice, your body, my choice".
Typical lefty, they know best, and the peons eat shit and die.
“You shut up!” No, YOU shut up!”
Debate at its finest. About the level I would expect from the average idiot “celeb.”
She sings the lead song in the new James Bond movie
A quick check on bio at Wikipedia tell all you need to know about this poor kid. Gonna take a work of God to turn this trainwreck around.
Looks like she’s on the same short career path as Amy Winehouse.
Who?
She looks messed up already in the looks dept. Same now mentally.
Don’t know or care who she is, but her intelligence can be determined by her inability to make a coherent argument and just using f___ in every sentence.
