The reluctance of hospitals to use ivermectin has liability problems. If a patient dies after ivermectin treatment, lawyers could make the claim that the hospital used a unapproved drug, causing the patient to die. Millions will be made. The horror!

If the patient and medical POA sign a waiver it should be OK, especially if he was considered to be hopeless beforehand.

The docs are shielded from malpractice liability if they use a government approved treatment. They are NOT shielded if they use an unapproved treatment.

But they are using remdesivir, which has a documented history of damaging heart and kidneys, often requiring permanent dialysis. Ivermectin doesn’t have the horrible track record remdesivir has.
