Police have apprehended a suspect who shot and killed someone inside a Philadelphia hospital around 12.12am on Monday morning.
Authorities detained the male suspect following a shootout in the city's Parkside section that left two officers injured.
Officers cornered the shooter after he fled the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Center City in an U-Haul, prompting a manhunt. ,,,

Philly has a Soros-funded DA, this explains it all. I was there a couple of years ago, stayed at a hotel next to City Hall. The church between the hotel and City Hall handed out free food to the homeless; they had no desire to walk there so they pitched tents on the sidewalk. The stench outside the hotel was overpowering.
Fifty-five year old male nurse, dressed in scrubs and wearing a mask (well, that’s a relief), shoots a 43 year old male nursing assistant and coworker. Drug deal gone bad or homos? I vote for the latter.
Perhaps he was hired for the hit and his employer said “after you do the shoot, you haul ass out of the city”. He took it too literally. /sarc

Brothe had residency at Hahnemann Hospital in Philly (since closed). Worked weeks on a black kid in ICU to get him well after taking a 45 in the teeth. Kid walked out weeks later and they got him at discharge with a shotgun. Killed my brother’s idealism for druggiest too.

Suspect went to work wearing body armor and guns? Was he going to actually ‘work’ ?
He shot a CNA. Well, I’ve known a few cna’s I could’ve shot…
So during the shootout the gunman was shot and taken to the hospital. They DID get him, but what the heck was that all about? He planned to escape? Had a U-haul ready? Wore body armor and brought guns just to shoot a coworker? This is a weird story, and the trucks U-haul make aren’t exactly a Bonnie and Clyde getaway car. What did this guy expect?
What a jerk, ruining a perfectly good U-Haul truck.
