the cities (stated many times on this thread). That is not contiguous, at least for them..........I do not care, one bit, for the people in the cities who are the ones that have caused this.
It was not an issue for immigrants to totally lose contact with their background as they crossed oceans to come here.....Did the Italians in Little Italy lose contact with their backgrounds when they crossed an ocean to come here.
How about all the other immigrants that crossed an ocean and settled into areas with others from their ancestral home.
Do the muslim’s invading this country lose contact with their background, like the ones in Dearborn, Michigan or Hicksville, NY?
As for the liberals in the cities, they made their beds. Let them lie in it. If they end up being surrounded by a sea of RED, where they no longer have control of things, fine by me. In fact, I’d build a wall around all of them, control access and let them eat each other alive.
How is that going to spill over to your zone?
I’d care about practicalities like that. And it’s not easy to just say “just shoot them if they come over” - we don’t need to be that Soviet.
As for your Italy stuff - the point is, immigrants LEFT real home, and likely would never see it again, not even for a visit. Sure they gather together. That actually helps a bit, for them to GET acclimated. But many were not here with their whole families, and certainly not in familiar environs and language, etc.
That is much more effort and alienation than me, say, moving to Kansas. Or even CA native moving here. The language (mostly!) and the traditions are the same overall.
