It is difficult, if not impossible, to obtain comparable vaccinated numbers, particularly for something vague like the last 7.5 months.
If 80% had been vaccinated on average over this time period it means the 20% unvaccinated had 37% of the deaths. This would translate into the unvaccinated being 2.35 times more likely to die from Covid than the unvaccinated. (.37/.20)/(.63/.80).
However, it could still be a very low death rate and it doesn’t reflect any offset for deaths from taking the vacinne.
Or it could be that the vax doesn’t do anything but put you at risk of clots and death, and no one knows the long term effects. This whole thing has been one lie after another, we are not getting the truth. It has been used to gain government control of everything and everyone. They have used it to change the trajectory of civilization. Not in a way that we want, but in a way they want.

That's over half a year.
It's not vague. It's very substantial and telling.

And if 100% of the people were vaxed then 100% that die from covid (because the Vax isn’t perfect) are vaxed. But that doesn’t tell you whether the Vax works compared to no vax.
As you say, one needs to know the % of people vaxed to arrive at any meaningful conclusion. The higher the % of Vaxed the higher the % of people that die are vaxed.
Just looked up that number for the UK and 82% of over 16 years of age have gotten both shots as of last week. Don’t know what the average % was over the past 7.5 months.
Sadly we’re in a world of “lies, damned lies and statistics”. And both sides manipulate statistics to push their agenda.
Bottom line, you need to do some really deep digging of your own to uncover the truth, and even then you have to be aware of your biases, else you end up fooling yourself.
