The answer was devolution.
Earlier I read Devolution #12. That PatriotPatel guy said he started following politics in 2018, three years ago.
Somebody must have handed him the script for Devolution, and said, “Publish this.” Nothing else has made sense of this bizarre unside-down reality.

In the clip below, Gates refers to vaccines helping to reduce the population by 15%. While their end goal is 500 million people left, I think they’re starting slowly and will be happy with a quick 15%. Once the world adapts to the smaller population and attendant drop in birth rates, they will continue to whittle us down in the coming years to their magic number.
It would be impractical of them to take us from 7.8 billion to 500 million in only a couple of years. They have to allow time for the adaptations to the shrinking infrastructure or they risk creating an unsustainable world for themselves where they’re the ones who have to do all the real work. Their self-designated “elite” status makes them ill-suited for meaningful production of anything except really bad ideas.
