and that is built into the Constitution.
What I do wonder is, what\who was considered a citizen of the United States at the time of adoption of the constitution
as the Constitution doesn't identify eligibility for either kind of citizenship.
No person except a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the United States, at the time of the adoption of this Constitution
