That’s why I think that the Supreme Court (reconstructed and reconfigured, possibly with Justice Thomas as Chief Justice), needs to issue an Opinion to officially define, once and for all, the term “natural born citizen”.
The Constitution, which in part was modeled after Vattel’s “Law of Nations”, is silent on the definition, probably because when it was written, everyone used common sense. For the times we live in now, however, having it formally codified wouldn’t be a bad thing. It would eliminate the need for debate, with its resulting division.
Let’s amend the constitution how about, to define NBC, rather than trusting a bunch of black robed mullahs to decide.
