My understanding of perspective warp in photography is it can only happen in 1 direction. That pic, it happens twice, in 2 different directions. Or did I miss something?

If you take a photo of a mouse sitting across the room, it looks very small.
If you put it on a stick and shove it right up to the camera, it looks huge.
Like this guy's giant pet snake...or not.
It would've been even better if the snake had been holding up the Tower of Pisa.
Unlike our brains, which compensate for such optical illusions, cameras are stupid and literal.
In the herp forums, we see these idiotic misrepresentations all the time and sharing them as “fact” is a great way to get shunned. :)
