@RepMattGaetz
Today I voted YES on the Marijuana Opportunity Reinvestment and Expungement Act to remove marijuana from the list of Schedule 1 drugs, decriminalizing the substance at the federal level and enabling states to set their own policy. (1/2)
Though not perfect (bad tax and spending provisions) the MORE Act is a step in the right direction as science has already proven the substance has healing properties in many chronic ailments. (2/2)

About time.
Floyd was a crackhead. Completely different.
In fact he was using fentanyl wasn’t he? why someone would put that in their body is beyond me.
It’s a different kind of stupid that’s for sure...
An overdose of hydrocodone can slow the or stop the breath same as a what happened to Floyd.
I apologize. Thought you were talking about weed.
Confess to know nothing about hydrocodone.
I’m going to look it up now!
I wouldn’t take any opioid to be honest because their very addictive...
Thank you FRiend!
It was a freeze-drying process like what they do for instant coffee.
Some company in Europe solved this problem, but they can only generate mixed drinks like Pina Colladas. It doesn’t work for beer because consumers have very distinct palates when it comes to beer. Sweeter drinks are easier to disguise.
# That’s the Tenth Amendment position; it was never the proper business of the federal government.
I agree with that. Personally, I’m not a big fan of pot. I smoked some when I was younger, but not a whole lot. Drugs should be a state-level issue with the feds only coming in it to regulate, in some small way, interstate transport of same, in much the same manner, and degree that they regulate the interstate transport of lumber.
The drug warriors won’t like it, but they really need to admit to the reality that the war is lost.
# I remember when that stuff was strictly forbidden anywhere in any amount.
... And yet, it was available to anyone who wanted it.
Because that wasn’t my original goal, and the cost of the process was already high enough to put the kibosh on making a profit.
Some company in Europe did generate a powder that can make a mixed drink, but it’s only good for Mimosas, Long Island Iced Teas , Cosmopolitans, Mai Tais, that kind of thing — girlie drinks.
Good.
As far as I know, the only drug that the Feds have constitutional jurisdiction over is alcohol.
My uncle uses marajoowana to alleviate his significant chronic pain. He was using a popular drug for pain previously, but it made him suicidally depressed. The pot doesn’t do that.
Good! Vote to legalize cocaine, meth, Heroin as well.
I can sympathize. I would also enjoy partaking in some edibles in an effort to dull my rage and hatred.
For now, I must settle for a couple of my prescriptions and plenty of red wine.
Awesome!!!
Isn’t grain alcohol pretty cheap? Adding 6% (ipa level) per beer doesn’t seem like it would cost much.
“Good! Vote to legalize cocaine, meth, Heroin as well.”
Intrastate policies on those drugs likewise belong with the states (the feds have Constitutional jurisdiction over interstate commerce).
And speaking of 10th Amendment and marijuana, have the Democratic / Peter Pan-controlled states who have legalized marijuana, and are also still pushing masks and CV19 restrictions, ever bothered to get the word out that using pot weakens the immune system making people more susceptible to suffering symptoms of CV19 in my non-medical opinion?

Corrections, insights welcome.
The ultimate remedy for unconstitutionally big, alleged election-stealing, Democratic Party-pirated federal and state governments oppressing everybody under their boots...
Consider that all the states can effectively “secede” from the unconstitutionally big federal government by doing the following.
Patriots need to primary federal and state elected officials who don't send voters email ASAP that clearly promises to do the following.
Federal and state lawmakers need to promise in their emails to introduce resolutions no later than 100 days after start of new legislative sessions that proposes an amendment to the Constitution to the states, the amendment limited to repealing the 16th and ill-conceived 17th Amendments.
Insights welcome.
It doesn’t taste right. That’s why that European company needed to add so much sweetener to their mix, because it changes dramatically the taste of the original substance.
