Blame the politicians of both parties if you must, but the real problem is the American people who crave the federal largesse regardless of the consequences.
This is how pols steal our tax dollars-——none of these trillions will benefit taxpayers.
Biden’s massive spending plans also includes inanities like:
$3 billion for ‘tree equity’,
$12 billion for electric cars,
$1 billion more to turn government facilities into ‘high-performance green buildings’
plus millions more for gender identity and bias training.
More importantly, the entire Biden Crime Family.......even the littlest Bidens.......all get to be multi-billionaires.

I’d argue there aren’t two parties.

They’ve all spent in the 21st century. Bush was a crazy spender outdone by Obama who was outdone by Trump. Trump was critical for showing its ok to fight and exposing the neo-cons as globalists first. On the fiscal and monetary side it was full steam ahead for him though, which does fit his personality. So it is what it is.
When Newt Gingrich was Speaker, we actually had a balanced budget, briefly, a true "peace dividend". Without 9/11 and a Democrat congress we might have one today.

I still have faith in Trump. He is a much better leader than his predesccors. He’s practical and can adapt. I believe he can be the one who tackles this issue.
Like I said it’s going to be forced on American leaders one way or another soon.

But he was also the first GOP prez to have a GOP congress in my lifetime. The other time was Trump, who also increased spending bigly even pre-china virus.
I wish we had a choice besides just either big spender GOP or bigger spender Dims. A wet dream is if a Newt era Republican Congress with their Contract with America (the time the budget was balanced because the GOP had the gonads to force it onto Clinton) being in Congress while Reagan or Coolidge is prez.
I know. So sad.
Trump had many positive positions but he had zero interest in balancing the budget. I don't expect that to change if he's elected again in 2024.
