Good post!
Things change so quickly in the span of a life. More than 50 years ago my Dad hosted a group of other engineers from Peru I believe. I was fascinated that a group of foreigners from somewhere so far away would undertake the trip to our small town and Dad’s project. He told about their questions and fascination with the navigation system Dad managed part of.
I asked him what most got their attention. His answer, the amount of food we throw away.
What is remarkable to me now is how novel that visit by people from Peru was.
Of course he was impressed.
In America, the food items compete for space on the shelves. In Soviet Russia, the food items were pre-selected by a central authority and put on the shelves. Who needs 12 different brands of laundry detergent when 1 will do just fine?
This is coming to a store near you soon. All the Libs who pushed relentlessly for a Green future are going to be shocked when the only toilet paper available is unbleached and single-ply. Enjoy the suck.
Yeah, well I don’t know about y’all but our stores don’t look that good anymore.
Bumpity-bump-bump!
I read once that the Soviet authorities decided to show “The Grapes of Wrath” in the Soviet Union, wanting their people to see how poor and downtrodden people were in the US. Instead what people noticed was that the destitute Joad family owned their own car.
The Boris Boogie ?
The young and stupid can’t tell the difference between a promise their WOKE idiots tell them - AND THE TRUTH OF WHAT COMMUNISM ALWAYS IS...Always turns into...
Totalitarian thug cultures with starvation...
Ask a progressive/commie professor to tell you one socialist/ communist country that works. They’ll say Sweden = then google it. The Swedish Government has denounced that crap for years. They will tell you they are NOT a socialist state. So that leaves Cuba, North Korea, Valenzuela, and China etc... All hellholes people want to escape from...
