Nick Ferrari challenges this caller who claims 'the onus is 100% on the woman to ensure her safety because at the best of times they are only half dressed'.

I guess if they should wear a holster with a ladies pistol then yes, they’re half dressed.
One of the most ridiculous circumstances of modern times is how so many women try to project the strongest possible image of themselves as sluts, and then condemn men for noticing.
They also do not realize that while they think they are projecting an image of a strong woman, they are really screaming their desire for a strong man in their lives.
The ultimate irony though, is that back in the forties and fifties we wore incredibly short shorts and halter tops during the summer, some of those tops were nothing more than a six inch strip of fabric with elastic on both edges. Granted, we probably put on a shirt before going to the grocery store, but still, in those days it wasn’t considered slutty at all!
Though very rare (maybe once every 5 years), I have seen women wearing outfits in public that seemed more appropriate for a strip club. In those cases, it seemed like they were inviting men to grope them. I never did, but I could see where someone with less self control might. But there is a world of difference between groping and raping. Rape (e.g., non-consensual sex) should always be criminal, even if a woman is walking around buck naked.
Oh, my stars.
There’s quite a humorous quality to that photo, with the right hand exactly where I wonder and gazing at the display of bananas....
Islam?
I am all for modest dressing, but bonus 100% on the woman sure sounds like Islam to me.
Thank you auto correct. Onus, not bonus.
Women like to say they should be able to go anywhere, dressed as scantily as possible, act provocative, get drunk and be safe.
In the best of all possible worlds that might be the case. In that world we wouldn’t need car or house locks and we could walk through any neighborhood flashing gold & diamonds and not have a hair or a possession touched.
We all know that is a fantasy world. While people who assault, rob and rape should be punished it is hypocritical and teaches the wrong lesson to suggest that in many cases the actions of some people are not contributory to the crimes committed against them by stating a woman should be able to walk down the street stark naked and not be assaulted.
We miss the chance to inject reality into the conversation and to make people aware of the dangers to which they are subjecting themselves by their behavior. There are not police following every person every minute to prevent a crime. Whether or not these women should be able to walk alone through the city or act unsafely at bars and venues is irreverent. Society has been cowed & silenced by the loud chorus from the left and has contributed to these crimes by not stating the inadvisability of tempting fate clearly.
OMG
The very short shorts is a trending fashion item now among young women. Don’t ask me how I know. Haha.
No, they’re just condemning men they regard as undesirable for noticing.
The world you describe is the first world of my small town childhood. We went on vacation without locking the house. My mother would leave the keys in the car when she went into the store. Don’t remember scantily clad women, though.
What a lovely display of fruits and vegetables.
Yes, common sense. Situational awareness. A woman can safely wear a bikini at the public pool. Same attire at a dive bar around midnight is a different story.
Feminism makes women stupid. Or are women that stupid to begin with?
I prefer half naked. I’m an optimist!
...and how would that word (in red) on the sign above the bananas?
The anus?
(Little Ticket reference for the DFW folks)
