There is a logic to his point. Best way to get someone to not do something is to make them feel like they’ve compromised their value system if they do (I’m this case get vaccinated.)
I’m gonna have to ponder the authors argument a bit more. It’s a good one to be sure.
Ponder it for another year and then decide if you still need the vaccine.

I agree and it’s a basic truth the left wants us dead .
Problem one: the rate of breakthrough cases is ridiculously high. When I know three people with them compared to none for a lifetime of other vaccinations I am sorry but #notimpressed.
Problem two: there are serious and deadly side effects to this vaccine. I know one person I suspect dropped dead of a heart attack due to it. And a hospitalized young lady, recovering. And many I hear of secondhand - not to mention athletes we see in the news and the VAERS site.
If “conservatives “ are dying more from covid then “liberals” must be dying more from complications.
I use quotes because plenty of conservatives are vacced and plenty of liberals are anti vacc in general.
