To: Living Free in NH
I’m considering fleeing TO New Hampshire (considering some other states as well, TX, MT, MO) from Massachusetts. I have some reservations about NH — it’s a constitutional carry state and there’s a law against vaccine mandates, but for all that, it’s still a blue state, hemmed in by even bluer states, and you can’t get out of New England without passing through NY.

What are your specific concerns with NH? I visited Florida earlier in the year — very nice overall but I wouldn’t want to live there.

NH has high property taxes, registering a car is expensive, power failures during ice/snow storms, heat will probably be considerably higher than usual, New Yorkers and M*ssholes are everywhere. TX, MT, and MO are all better choices than Red Hampshire (although MT is pricey).
