They completely try to mimic God, they envy Him and so they are trying to become gods and will use technology to give themselves a facsimile of His omnipotence, omniscience, and omnipresence.

God has said, "My yoke is light..." and the New World Order technocrats can't say the same. *shudder*

A Calvinist would argue we have ‘creaturely’ will. Of course, they would add - we are fallen creatures so our will is distorted.
