I find it odd that Van Gogh’s name is pronounced differently in the U.S. and U.K. Here we pronounce it ‘Van Go’ and the Brits pronounce it ‘Van Goff’. I have no idea how the Dutch pronounce his name.

A couple of years ago a local hospital had a poster of Van Gogh with a mask reading ‘Cover your Cough’ which is quite clever if you’re a Brit, but makes little sense here.
