That is all I wore growing up in Florida, also in my adult years when not working. When not in sandles I would run around in boat shoes.
I wear sandals all the time and if you read my posts, you’ll find out that I’m definitely no hippie.
Yes, in FL it’s good to wear something you don’t mind getting wet. I seem to have a talent for getting caught in the rain all the time.
Here in North Florida I wear my regular sandals for most of the year. We actually have a few days or a few weeks of winter up here, though, when I wear my fur-lined sandals.
