It is terrible that if you are not standing right over it with a shotgun society considers it as public community property. Self proclaimed “Salvage rights”.
Cops don’t even do anything anymore... “Turn it into your insurance company, hope you had it documented”.

I’m trying to find a short term storage solution to have my pet projects towed to.
They have to be enclosed.
I might have a few options around here.

My garage in the burbs isn’t trans dimensional like the TARDIS.
Every evening, move what I can, hope they don’t come back, assuming they weren’t transient types.
Given the shape of the roof and part of a wall, I was having my doubts but I was allowed to use the place and generally left alone. Tons of space.
Oh well.
I paid for violating a big rule of mine, being lazy about taking stuff home.
Plenty of people, traffic, local PD drive bys, friendly types generally around driving around. But not 24/7. Cameras couldn’t do it all. You would have to see the layout.
I’m probably going to have a garage sale.

I might try the project K5 again even though it is sort of apart.
There was an intact one on EBay same year at a a good price that got no action not long ago.

I just had someone come by and offer me 10K for my other bubble top van, 1975. He said “I am going to have to live in it”.
