Why not tax them a buck a pill, and sell them to "the antivax rubes", with proper dosage instructions, and the admonishment that "these won't work"?

See, you bought into the “horse pill” narrative. There is a ivermectin pill just for humans and billions of them have been dispensed in Africa to stop malaria.
