Vitamin C, D3, L-Lysine, probiotics, fish oil, and Quercetin are what I use as Covid prophylactics, along with multivitamins and a few other supplements

I did not know what L-Lysine and Quercetin are but after an internet search, turns out I get them in my food sources naturally. I do take Vitamin C, D3 and zinc as supplements each morning with my eggs, butter, full fat yogurt (probiotics) and berries. Lunch is almost always a tin of sardines, oysters or salmon (fish oil) with nuts. Dinner is greatly varied but pretty much all good foods. For instance, I had today a whole chicken over sliced sweet potato in a dutch oven.

During this entire COVID thing, I have never been vaccinated or even seen a doctor. I haven't even had a test! I never wear a mask unless absolutely required to on public transportation or in a place of business that strictly requires it (like a Dentist office or a hospital). I have zero fear of catching the COVID virus. Zero. In fact, I strongly suspect I had it in February of 2020 as that was the last time I felt sick and I was in NYC just about every day during that time, riding the subways and crowded elevators. If that was indeed it, I shook it off very quickly.

I'm also not a "sanitizing" nut. I never bother with the hand sanitizers that popped up everywhere after COVID and I spend a lot of time outdoors. I believe it is important to expose yourself to germs. It keeps your immune system in good working order. Like a well trained army or a top sports team, you must always drill, drill, drill. Practice, practice, practice to stay in top fighting form.

All these people who huddled indoors during COVID, constantly washing their hands and wiping down packages entering their homes...it's the equivalent of keeping an army inactive inside their barracks for months on end. Very quickly, that army loses its edge and becomes very ineffective at fighting. Well, this is what people do to their immune systems when they never give it anything to do.

I do not understand the fear of COVID - a virus with a 99% survival rate. All my life, people around me have gotten cancer, had heart attacks, strokes, diabetes, pneumonia, leukemia, bad cases of the flu, etc. Many of them died. We never shut down the world over it!

There's a thousand things out there that can kill you. Best we can do is minimize the risk with healthy living and hope for the best. So eat well, exercise and get out into the world. That is how you beat COVID (and any other virus).

Did I leave out zinc? I’ve been taking that since last year as a separate supplement even though it’s also in many multivitamin pills.
