From the article: “Currently, I am not aware of the Comirnaty available within the DOD.”
Comirnaty and the Pfizer vaccine are identical. The only difference is the name on the package. Comirnity has full approval except for those under sixteen and certain compromises of the immune system.
“The only difference is the name on the package.”
Same but different is not strong legal footing.
You can get a parking ticket thrown out if the incorrect model or color is written in.
As our beloved El Rushbo would say, “Words have Meaning”.
“Comirnaty and the Pfizer vaccine are identical. The only difference is the name on the package. Comirnity has full approval except for those under sixteen and certain compromises of the immune system.”
This makes no sense.
No, they are not the same. The Pfizer vax is still under EUA. The Comiranty is owned by BioNtech and has full FDA approval but is NOT currently on the market for sale or use.
yes but Pfizer is stilll under eua so it cannot legally be forced on people..
True.
However, you cannot get a shot of Comirnaty in the USA.
Why?
Because as soon as Comirnaty is available to the public - by law - the Moderna and J&J vaccines must be withdrawn, because they are still experimental.
Very unlikely that is going to happen.
