also usually type o have 25% lower von Willebrand factor that other blood types. that factor affects blood clotting, harder for blood to clot with lower factor.
aspirin thins blood also making clotting more difficult.
it would be interesting if those who had covid were tested for von Willibrand factor and compare that to seriousness of covid and outcome.
there have been studies about von Willebrand factr and covid 19
