So if you are “vaccinated” why should you be getting any treatments???
Just proves this crap ain’t working...
the original guidance was for anyone with exposure, which would include vaccinated.
This updated directive correctly narrows the focus to those most likely to put pressure on hospital resources without an early intervention. High-risk vaccinated may get infected but they tend not to need hospital resources or need them for a much shorter period of time.
It’s about keeping people out of the hospital. And it seems to be working in Florida - infusions up/hospitalizations way down.
I the Freeper tradition of never bothering to actually read the article, and now jumping to conclusions that vaccines and not COVID is the enemy, understand that the NIH is prioritizing monoclonals for people that are NOT vaccinated since they are far more likely to be hospitalized.
For those link challenged, SNIP:
“The NIH updated its guidelines on Sept. 3 to advise prioritizing monoclonal antibodies for those who are either unvaccinated or partially vaccinated and are at high risk of progressing to severe COVID-19. NIH also advised prioritizing vaccinated individuals who are “not expected to amount an adequate immune response,” such as immunocompromised individuals.”
