Ogden Nash.. and that’s all it is. I thought it was from a longer poem.
My dil was trying to get the 7 yr/o to rhyme the other day.
She said.. “It rhymes with “feet” and it’s something we do every night at dinner.
His response was.. “Chewing?” She laughed and said.. “Does chewing rhyme with “feet”? He said, “There goes my rap career.”

Grandkids are so wonderful! My four year old has gotten into knock knock jokes. I just wish he understood them!
