I know for a fact that the med dispensers in nursing homes (usually an LPN or RN set them up) will give 20-30mg of melatonin (before bed) to the older patients who just don’t produce enough anymore and can’t sleep. Not a lot of LPNs left since more education has been pushed (I.e. RN to BSN)
