Good on you; the managers know there are a lot of folks in your situation.
I honestly might not have said a word, except that I’ve got a very good manager. He has taken good care of us for the last 5 years, and I wanted to let him know where I stood, and what could happen. Because if I were to leave, he’d be having to recruit a replacement.
He’s been good to us, so I’m good to him.
