I wonder where are the physicists from MIT who said cold fusion was poppycock, that Pons and Fleischmann were sloppy in their procedures and didn’t know how to do calorimetry, who declared “The Death of Cold Fusion” back in 1989? We don’t hear much from them anymore.
I know of one who for sure is no longer among the living, so maybe that’s a factor.
I suspect it is. I forget the exact quote and who said it, but it ran something like "paradigms change one death at a time".
The rest are probably too embarrassed to open their pie holes.
